Advanced Pyrolysis System for Waste Management and “Green” Energy Generation
Gideon Technical Laboratories offers complete advanced pyrolysis systems optimized for a variety of feedstocks appropriate for your location. These systems are comprised of three main components: 1. Sorting and pre-processing of feedstocks for uniformity of size and composition, 2. Pyrolysis of the processed and sorted feedstock resulting in the production of a combustible gas, and 3. Generation of electricity by a modified generator powered by the combustible gas.
Features:
- Capable of processing 36 tons/day of feedstock (multiple units can be placed in parallel to achieve higher levels of throughput)
- System can generate over 100 MWhr per day utilizing plastics for feedstock
- Operation of this system can be accredited for the generation of carbon offset credits providing an additional revenue stream or offsetting emissions from the customer’s other operations
- Zero emission pyrolysis process is more environmentally friendly than other systems
- Generated electricity can be stored in a battery system allowing for metering back to the grid during high demand times, grid outages or at peak rates (if available in customer’s area)
- Electricity generated through this process has higher value as it is considered “Green Power” by the US Environmental Protection Agency
