Background

Following are some brief descriptions of work our principals have successfully completed around the world:

North America:

USA: Our principals have worked on numerous projects throughout the US for both government and private clients. Some of the government clients with which we have experience are NASA, US Department of Energy (Oak Ridge National Laboratory) and other confidential clients. We have also worked with large energy companies and prime government contractors. These clients represent some of the most technologically capable government agencies and largest, most valuable commercial clients in the world.

West Africa:

Government of Benin: Worked with the Government of Benin to develop a program to utilize renewable energy sources for critical infrastructure functions including powering water pumps, lights for classrooms during evening hours, power for recreational centers and power for healthcare facilities.

Worked with officials of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), the country’s maritime regulatory body, to develop an offshore water and fisheries quality monitoring program which includes a boat capable of collection water, marine species and sediment samples and performing analyses of samples as well as preparing samples for higher level analysis at laboratories on land. The system will be capable of operating safely offshore as well as in sensitive inshore locations.

Government of Senegal: Worked with officials of Agence Nationale des Affaires Maritimes (ANAM), the national maritime regulatory body, to develop a water quality program for the country that included a network of laboratories, offshore water sampling capability, continuous monitoring capability and mobile laboratory network.

Southeast Asia:

Our principals also have significant experience operating throughout Southeast Asia in Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia. In Indonesia, we have our principals have experience with a joint US/Indonesia government through the US Department of State’s Biosecurity Engagement Program to provide high level technical support to a government research facility’s high containment laboratory project. This project required significant coordination between multiple government agencies, researchers, local contractors and international suppliers of equipment.

Singapore:

GTL principals have been part of a high containment laboratory project in Singapore from initial design to training personnel in principles of biosafety, emergency operations and security. The end users of the facility were part of the Duke-NUS (Duke University-National University of Singapore) collaboration for work in infectious diseases. Additionally, GTL principals have provided consulting to confidential clients on biosecurity, biosafety and physical security.

Caribbean:

GTL principals have completed projects at several locations in the Caribbean for confidential clients in Aruba and Trinidad and Tobago. These projects involved complex facilities for several nation’s governments.
